After what was an amazing season in Wales, some clubs have started preparations for the 2023/2024 Adran Leagues season early.
The FAW have confirmed that all three divisions of the Genero Adran Leagues will see a full quota of eight teams each another exciting season is expected.
Adran Premier winners Cardiff City have seen two players depart the club already. Star forward Phoebie Poole has decided to leave after three seasons at the Bluebirds. Poole scored 37 goals for City, and where she will be playing next season is currently unknown. The Bluebirds will also see India Shanahan leave to join Barry Town United. The forward scored 24 goals in the Adran Leagues Under 19’s last season.
Barry Town United have been busy getting ready for the new season with not only Shanahan signing but also Chloe Tiley joining from Swansea City. Tiley will add extra Premier League experience to the Barry side. The Linnets have also added Emily Freeman who has previously been at Swansea Uni and Swansea City.
Swansea City who finished second have yet to bring in any new faces but as well as Tiley leaving, Emma Beynon departs the club.
In the Adran North, CPD Y Rhyl have signed Sade Benjamin from NFA, who will join the league this season.
In the Adran South, last season’s winners Briton Ferry Llansawel have confirmed, despite interest from several Premier clubs, that their first team will all be signing on for next season. In addition, they have brought in Alison Witts from Pontypridd United. Witts is a vastly experienced Adran Premier player who will add a lot to an already talented squad.
