It was a tough day for Norfolk teams in tier five as Wroxham were beaten 3-1 away by Luton Town. After a goalless first half, Luton put the game out of sight in the second period thanks to goals from Andie Dickens, Eleanor Wade, and Elizabeth Sanders. Keela Olive got a consolation goal back for Wroxham but by then it was too little too late for Adam Race’s team.
Elsewhere, King’s Lynn Town put in an improved performance but were beaten 7-1 at home by Needham Market at The Walks. The visitors led 3-0 at halftime thanks to a brace from Molly Hall, with Lina Nagib getting the third.
In the second half, Lina Nagib added her second, and before Paige Wakefield made it 5-0, King’s Lynn pulled one back through Jodie Hopkins but there was to be no comeback as Ellie Rossiter made it 6-1, and the day was rounded off by Molly Hall getting her hat-trick and completing a very comprehensive victory for Needham Market.
