Round Two of the action saw some statement-making wins, more eye-catching individual performances, and the first teams secure their place in the Semi-Finals.
Group A
On Friday night at Inglewood Stadium, Fremantle City ensured they go into the final week of group matches unbeaten after an impressive 3-2 win over Hyundai NTC. Both sides went into this encounter having won their opening encounters last week, with memories were still strong for the NTC of their incredible 4-0 win over Perth RedStar. However, it was Freo who took the spoils in a 3-2 victory. Mia Yeo, Erin Siah, and American signing Leyna Wood secured the win. Klaudia Houlis and Zuri Dalton were on target for the NTC. Perth RedStar were back to winning ways with a 5-0 win over Murdoch University Melville. Sarah Carroll grabbed a brace, along with further strikes from Jay Coleman, Jayna Ridley, and Renee Leota ensuring that Chris Atturo’s team are once more in the running for silverware. They will have to defeat Fremantle City next week in their final group game to have any hopes of qualifying for the last four, a situation likely to come down to goal difference.
Group A Ladder: Fremantle City 6 pts (+3), Hyundai NTC 3 pts (+3), Perth RedStar 3 pts (+1), Murdoch University Melville 0 pts (-7).

Group B
Both Perth SC and Balcatta Etna confirmed their place in the semi-finals with a round of matches to spare after both claimed their second straight wins of the round robin stage.
Balcatta opened proceedings on Saturday evening at Dorrien Gardens with a 2-0 win over Subiaco thanks to goals from Jamie-Lee Gale and Abbey Meakins.

Perth SC were involved in a dramatic tussle with UWA-Nedlands which saw the Azzurri come from 2-1 down to win 4-2. Louise Tana, Maya Archibald, Sam Mathers, and Matilda Boehm were on target for Perth. Both of UWA-Nedlands’ strikes came from Chloe Rodrigo.
Next weekend’s final matches in the group will decide who finishes top with Perth SC hosting Balcatta Etna after Subiaco face off against UWA-Nedlands.
Group B Ladder: Balcatta Etna 6 pts (+6), Perth SC 6 pts (+6), Subiaco 0 pts (-6), UWA-Nedlands 0 pts (-6).
